The Results of the 2026 Elections are as follows:

Due to an issue with email voting, the results for the election of President and the 3 year directorship will be announced next week.

All email votes that were cast to  Beachesvotes2026@gmail.com  have been registered and counted. Some email votes were sent to the wrong email address due a link error posted on the website.
Any Beaches CC members whose votes were sent to the wrong link will have the opportunity to have their votes registered.  They will be contacted by email and given instructions on next steps.

The following motion was adopted to rectify this issue:

That, due to an incorrect email hyperlink on the Beaches Community Centre website, the Membership approved postponing the 2026 Director Election results until 12:00 p.m. on June 2, 2026, to allow eligible Members who may have submitted advance email votes between May 19 and May 26, 2026, to the inaccessible email address an opportunity to provide proof of submission. Such proof must be submitted by email to Beachesvotes2026@gmail.com and must include a screenshot or image showing the date of the original submission and the incorrect email address used. All valid advance votes received to the correct email address, together with pre-ballots and in-person ballots cast at the AGM on May 26, 2026, shall be included in the final count. Final Director Election results will be posted on the Beaches Community Centre website on June 3, 2026.
