From April 2024 - Interim Fitness Facility

​

The interim fitness facility has been very successful in its location at the East Beaches Social Scene (EBSS) with membership approaching 70 fitness enthusiasts. As the current arrangement with EBSS is in place only until May of 2025,  the board will continue to seek out  a larger interim facility in the East Beaches area to accommodate more equipment and members.   

 

Fundraising will continue for the proposed building expansion at Beaches Community Centre that will eventually house the Fitness Centre.  The board has decided not to pursue or consider any changes to the current Beaches Community Centre (including the upstairs lounge) to house the interim facility at this time.
