Cross Country Skiing in Full Swing - Read Trail Report

Most Cross Country Skiing trails near Beaches Community Centre were groomed today and conditions are very good. There is a good base and we can groom almost anywhere. The best conditions are on the golf course, so go out and enjoy.

There have been changes to the trail system. The parking lot has been expanded, lopping off the most westerly portion of the Jackpine trail. Also extension of the brush drop off area forced us to reroute the Triple Bypass trail around it. Lastly extensive brushing of the Firebreak made that trail disappear. Therefore our Victoria Beach Ski maps and signage are no longer accurate and have to be redone. Bear with us while we are doing that. If you are familiar with the area, this should not be much of an issue; if not stick close to the golf course and you shouldn't lose your way.

Grooming in full swing for Cross Country Ski Trails

If you live east of PR 504 you will be happy to know that there is a new groomed trail along the 504 bushline between the Sand Cliff trail and Macawley. It connects to the main trail system via  the King Edward E Firebreak.
