Let's Play Nice in the Snowbox

Our East Beaches/Victoria Beach community is rich with lots of winter sports. Both Cross-country skiing and Snowmobiling rely on trails designated for each.
Just a friendly reminder that according to RMVB Bylaw 1643, snowmobilers aren’t permitted to travel on cross-country ski trails, as this ruins the tracked trails. People who violate this rule can be fined $1000.
We have recently noticed that Snowmobiles are becoming more active on ski trails. Twice now sleds have trashed the ski tracks along PR 504, even when there was a perfectly groomed Snoman trail (snowmobile trail) less than 10 meters away.
If you are a snowmobiler, please take some time to share the rules with others in our community. Feel free to read the details of RMVB Bylaw 1643: https://victoriabeach.ca/Home/DownloadDocument?docId=b77f53e3-800f-4f55-b3d6-442083017816
Let’s find ways to be respectful and cooperative,
and allow our winter sports to exist in harmony.
Thanks for your cooperation!
