Pickleball is exploding in the US and Canada. In Winnipeg, it’s hard to find a place to learn and there are waiting lists to join pickleball programs.
The Beaches Community Centre (formerly Victoria Beach Community Centre) is bringing a “Learn to Play Pickleball for Beginners” class to the East Beaches area.

*Bring your racquet if you have one. If not, we’ll let you use one for you for the clinic.
*Bring indoor shoes and water.
Pickleball is a fun, easy-to-learn racquet sport that’s a combination of ping pong, tennis and badminton. It’s very affordable and user-friendly, as many programs are done as drop-ins. If you’ve been curious to try it, NOW is the time!

At Beaches Community Centre Pickleball is offered indoors, six mornings a week. May until mid-October. Visit the Pickleball page for more details.
We are looking for volunteers to help run the clinic as well as help spread the word about the opportunity. We are hoping to offer a clinic every month over the next few months if possible. This only works if our players help out.
