Welcoming Ukrainian Refugees with a Free Membership

Beaches Community Centre (formerly the Victoria Beach Community Centre) has accepted the challenge from Petersfield Curling Club. We will be waiving membership fees for Ukrainian Refugees of all ages who live in or visit the East Beaches area, and wish to participate in our programs or leagues this year.

We, too, encourage all recreation centres to consider offering similar support.

All Ukrainian Refugees, please come and enjoy our programs and events, such as parent and child drop-in, yoga, baseball tournaments, Summer Winds Music Festival, Beaches Country Market (formerly the VB Country Market), pickleball, weekend breakfasts, crafting classes, dance classes, curling leagues and any other activities or classes. We’d be honored to offer you a free membership! Unfortunately we are not able to waive registration or event fees at this time.
