Join us for FireSmart Community Clean Up

Let's come together as a community for our FireSmart Community Clean Up Day! We’ll be donning bright colors and work gloves to clean up the deadfall, ground fuel and trash in the treed areas around the Victoria Beach Village Green.

Why Participate?

In light of the serious wildfires that have affected our province, it is crucial that we take action to protect our environment and our beloved Victoria Beach community. Your participation can make a BIG difference!

Event Details

• Date: Sat May 24

• Time: All Day, 9am start; Come when you can!

• 9am quick stretch and movement warm up will be lead by yoga instructor Hedy Heppenstall

• FREE Hotdogs will be served at noon

• Location: Victoria Beach Village Green

What to Bring

• Bright clothing, gloves, boots, hats, safety glasses

• Work gloves

• Tools to clear the deadfall: loppers, rakes, hand cutters - label your tools

How You Can Help

We urge anyone who can spare 30 minutes or more to join us, or come for the morning or the afternoon. Remember, many hands make light work!
