X-Country Ski Report January 4, 2026

All trails groomed. Conditions excellent except for the freestyle ... snow sticky causing the groomer to snowplow and leave ridges ... snow needs to setup before we can groom the freestyle again.

Ski tips:

For classic skiing try to plant poles within a foot of the groomed track. This is the most compacted area ... deer and dogs seem to sense this better than humans. Outside of this range poles are more likely to poke through and you could lose your balance.
